Το “Δωμάτιο” είναι μια εγκατάσταση των: Μιχάλη Αντωνόπουλο, Τάκη Ζερδεβά, Ζωή Πυρίνη και Μάκη Φάρο στο πλαίσιο τησ συνεργασίας με το Ziria Music Festival.
To ¨Δωμάτιο” το πρωί λειτουργεί σαν ηχητική εγκατάσταση, ενώ το βράδυ σαν εικαστική εγκατάσταση.
Στο έργο, η τεχνολογία λειτουργεί παρασιτικά πάνω στο φυσικό περιβάλλον που εκπροσωπείται από το μεγάλο δέντρο και το μεταλλάσει, το διαμορφώνει σε ένα εσωτερικό χώρο ενώ ταυτόχρονα αισθάνεται κανείς μια έντονη δραστηριότητα. Το δέντρο το βράδυ αποκτά την πραγματική του διάσταση.Καλεί. Ένας χώρος έντασης, μεταφυσικός που τείνει σε μια πληρότητα. Ο ήχος το πρωί κάτω από την φολόξενη σκιά στον οικείο χώρο, εισάγει θραύσματα του πολιτισμού και προβλημάτων της σύγχρονης ζωής, προσπαθώντας να υπονομεύσει την προσπάθεια για φυγή μέσω μιας εκδρομής στη φύση γιατί στην πραγματικότητα εμείς είμαστε οι φορείς των προνήμάτων και τα κουβαλάμε παντού μαζί μας.
Η λέξη room, εξωστρεφής σαν διαφημιστική ταμπέλα, παραπέμπει στο δοκίμιο της Virginia Woolf “Ένα δικό της δωμάτιο”, μια εσωτερική διαπραγμάτευση.
“Room” is an installation by Michalis Antonopoulos, Takis Zerdevas, Zoi Pirini and Makis Faros in collaboration with Ziria Music Festival.
In the morning, “Room” functions as a sound installation, while in the evening it functions as a visual art installation.
In this installation, technology works parasitically on the natural environment represented by the large tree and mutates it, transforming it into an interior space while at the same time one senses an intense activity. The tree in the evening acquires its true dimension. It calls. A space of tension, metaphysical, tending towards a fullness. The sound in the morning, under the murderous shade in the familiar space, introduces fragments of culture and problems of modern life, trying to undermine the attempt to escape through an excursion in nature, because in fact we are the carriers of the problems and we carry them everywhere with us.
The word room, as extroverted as an advertising sign, refers to Virginia Woolf essay “A Room of One’s Own”, an inner negotiation.
